16th Surprise Birthday party!!

On Friday, April 11th my mom had a surprise birthday party for me and my dad because his birthday is on the 18th. I kind of knew that I was having a birthday party, because I peeked in my mom's datebook. Thanks everyone that came, I had a great time and I hope you guys did too. I got lots of money and lots of gifts!!! My uncle made a cake for my birthday. He owns a candy shop in Lewisburg called: Catherman's Cakes and Homemade Candies.

Going into Business!!!

Yeah, we are going into business all right. Not no ordinary business, it's lollipop business!! For my senior year I have to do a project in order to graduate, and I chose to do a fundraiser on selling homemade gourmet lollipops for the American Cancer Society. We have been doing it since almost a month, we started somewhere in March. I didn't think that lollipops would go over very well but it has been doing very well. We are keeping busy. My family made the lollipops and we took them around to different businesses to sell them, some of the businesses we took them to were: Fremont Automotive, Martins Hardware Store, and Guardian Angel Bookstore. The lollipops are $.50 each and we have little bags full of little pieces of candy and they are $.50 each also. We make all different kinds of flavors like: cotton candy, root beer, pina colada, strawberry, and peach. We are getting new flavors like: raspberry, apple and maybe some others. Well, now you know how much the lollipops cost, where you can find them, the flavors, and remember it is for a good cause (the American Cancer Society). You can even get special orders of lollipops if you would like, just let us know in an advance time, so we have time to do them. My senior project will end at the end of this school year!! But as long as we have orders we will keep on making lollipops!!! Thank You for your support!!!
